JAISALMER FORT

Jaisalmer Fort also known as the Sonar Fort or golden fort was built by Rawal Jaisal. The fort is situated on a hill and constructed in the classic style of the royals by local craftsmen. This fort is the largest living fort in the world. Visit the beautiful palace and Jain Temples inside the fort.

KOTHARI'S PATWAON-KI-HAVELI

Patwa Haveli or Kothari's Patwa Haveli is one of the most important Havelis of Jaisalmer. This haveli is a cluster of five havelis and also famed as the house of brocade merchants. There are exquisite wall paintings, balconies that open to a panoramic view, gateways, arches and most importantly the mirror works on the wall. The pillars and ceilings of this golden architecture are carved in intricate designs and miniature works.

SALIM SINGH KI HAVELI

Salim Singh Ki Haveli was built by Salim Singh the Prime Minister of Jaisalmer. This haveli is a perfect illustration of arched roof with excellently carved brackets in the form of Peacocks, just below the hill. The walls, balconies are all covered with imperial paintings.

GADISAR LAKE

Gadisar Lake was built by Rawal Jaisal and later reconstructed by Maharawal Gadsi Singh. This lake was constructed to store rain water. There are many temples and cenotaphs aroun the lake. Enjoy the panoramic view of the Sonar Fort from the lake during Sunset / Sunrise.

KULDHARA ABANDONED VILLAGE 

Visit Kuldhara the ghost village which was abandoned 200 years ago. ’s old abandoned village Kuldhara. It is believed that due to the Diwan of Jaisalmer the villagers had to abandon the village one night and while going they cursed that no one will ever be able to settle here and whoever tried to repopulate the place has experienced paranormal activities. You can see and even enter the houses of the villagers and from the terrace; one can see the whole village. It is also a perfect spot to take pictures

SAM SAND DUNES 

Drive towards Sam Sand Dunes to explore the Thar Desert. Sam Sand dunes, is one of the most authentic desert dune sites in India. Enjoy the mesmerizing Sunset view over the dunes.
